Established in 1989 by A. Soriano Corporation and Aboitiz & Company and years later, Grupo F. Jacinto invested into the corporation. In 2004, a group of companies managed by Manuel Moraza and Inaki Ugarte took ownership of the company.
Mindanao Container Corporation (MCC) specializes in the production and marketing of high quality 210-liter steel drums. The main products are tight head and top-open head steel drums lined with food-grade internal material to be used as containers for export of juice concentrates and oleochemical products (e.g. tertiary amines, fatty alcohol products, etc.). MCC Plant is located in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental which is situated in Northern Mindanao and about 24 kilometers east of Cagayan de Oro City.
MCC also prides itself in a dedicated, value-driven, competent workforce consisting of 30 employees in Makati and Villanueva sites who tirelessly work on innovative strategies to better improve the services we give to clients.
Its operations is supervised by Plant Manager Michael Josephus Kintanar, who has held supervisory and managerial positions the past 26 years in the manufacturing industry both local and international.
In 2007, we shifted to the use of continuous oven and baking type paints to further enhance our steel drums. At present, we continue to commit to the values we have engaged in the past 20 years spanning our existence in the industry: an open communication with our customers and suppliers, efficient machineries and the drive for constant innovation that are both cost-effective and environment-friendly.
Envisioning itself to be the premier manufacturer of quality steel drums for both local and international markets, MCC recognizes that the world needs more than just steel drums. That's why we work daily to keep providing you with only the best.
It is the policy of Mindanao Container to provide customers with total product satisfaction at any particular instance. We are to achieve this through:
An open line communication with the customers
A well trained, resource oriented and value driven work force
